I had the pleasure of going to the Old Quarantine Station at Manly the other day. i had to visit my brother and his wife down from the Gold Coast. It is now called the Q Station. It is well worth going there. The view is sensational, looking at the Sydney CBD, the harbour and of course Manly.

They have done it up and made it into a hotel and conference centre. The restaurant is well worth the trip, superb food. There is a museum retracing the history of the place, with many old artefacts, such as old head stones. For more information, please go to Wikipedia.
